تعتمد الرقابة في التدقيق بأخذ عينات من وثائق المنتجات ونتائج أعمال الإدارات، بما يعطيها درجة معقولة من القناعة بالتزام البنك بقرارات الهيئة الشرعية وضوابطها، كما تقوم إدارة الرقابة الشرعية بالرد على استفسارات العملاء، وإيضاح الطريقة الشرعية التي تنفذ بها منتجات البنك، وكذلك تقوم إدارة الرقابة بحل شكاوى العملاء التي تصلها، والتواصل مع إدارات البنك لتحقيق ذلك.
