وأبان آل غالب -أن الأمانة العامة دعمت قطاع المؤتمرات والمعارض ضمن أبرز مشاريعها بإنشاء لجنة للفعاليات والمعارض والمؤتمرات، وهي أول لجنة تنشأ لهذا القطاع منذ تأسيس الغرفة قبل 69 عاما، واللجنة برئاسة عضو مجلس إدارة الغرفة والناطق الرسمي باسم المجلس هشام محمد كعكي، إضافة إلى 15 عضوا يمثلون أهم الشركات العاملة في القطاع في مكة المكرمة.
