ما كان يشدني إلى تلك المجالس أكثر، هو طيبة الناس في ذلك الزمن وبساطتهم وصدقهم وقلوبهم النقية. حيث عندما يكون المرء في المجلس ويسمع النقاش المتواصل الذي يصل في بعض الأحيان الى حد النزاع والإختلاف وإرتفاع الأصوات بين المتحدثين، فكان يخّيل إليك أن بعض الحضور لن يعود إلى ذلك المجلس أو أن أحداً من الحضور في ذلك اليوم لن يتكلم مع الآخر و لكن العكس هو ما كان يحدث تماماً حيث تأتي اليوم الثاني لترى نفس الأفراد موجودين يضحكون معاً وكأن شيئاً لم يحدث الليلة البارحة
