الإستحمام في البركة كان متعة لا يمكن وصفها بسهولة، ففي وقت الظهيرة في عز الصيف كانت البركة هي المكان المفضل للأطفال والشباب حيث يتراشقون بالماء ويقفزون ويلعبون ويتعاركون داخل البركة وخارجها. ولذلك كانت تصبح المياه في أغلب الأوقات مخلوطة بالرمل من كثرة خروج الشباب ودخولهم فيها وهم ملطخو الأرجل والأجسام بالرمال
