وحتى عندما قرب موعد إفتتاح المدرسة، لم يكن الوالد موافقآ بإلتحاقي بها، حيث أنه قبل ذلك بشهور قد أدخلني لتعلم القرآن الكريم مع المعلم "مهدي عبدالوهاب"، وكان الوالد يعتقد جازما بأن تعلّم قراءة القرآن أفضل وأثوب من الذهاب للمدرسة. ولكن والحمد لله، وافق أخيرأ على التحاقي بالمدرسة.
