وينبثق من الهيئة الشرعية لجنة تحضيرية تتكون من أصحاب الفضيلة الأعضاء الأربعة الأخيرين، وتمارس اللجنة التحضيرية الصلاحيات الممنوحة لها من الهيئة الشرعية، ولها مهام عدة من أبرزها: دراسة الموضوعات الواردة من البنك تمهيداً لعرضها على الهيئة الشرعية للبت فيها. ودراسة الاستفسارات الشرعية الواردة من موظفي البنك وعملائه والتوجيه بشأنها. ودراسة الأفكار المبدئية للمنتجات والتوجيه بشأنها
