فقد ساوى الله بين الوالدين في الوصايا بهما، وخص الام بالامور الثلاثة بياناً لزيادة فضل لها، ودعوة الى اختصاصها بفضل من المحبة والشفقة، اذ وصى بها الرسول، صلوات الله عليه، ثلاث مرات، فلها على هذا ثلاثة ارباع البر، والمراد ان الام تستحق على الولد الحظ الاوفر من البر، وتقدم في ذلك على الاب، عند المزاحمة.
