وقد اشارت غالبية الدراسات السوسيولو

وقد اشارت غالبية الدراسات السوسيولوجية للمجتمعات المحلية الى اربعة مكونات او عناصر رئيسية لها، هي: مجموعة من الأشخاص وتمثل العنصر الديموغرافي أو السكاني؛ والمنطقة الجغرافية وتمثل العنصر المكاني، والتفاعل الاجتماعي ويمثل العنصر السوسيولوجي أو الاجتماعي، والروابط المشتركة وتمثل العنصر السيكولوجي الثقافي، كالعادات والتقاليد والقيم والعقائد والأماني والأهداف، وعليه فإن المجتمع المحلي يتكون من أشخاص متفاعلين اجتماعيا مع بعضهم البعض، وفي منطقة جغرافية محددة، وتجمعهم روابط مشتركة (العمر، 2011).
