أصبح طلاب وطالبات الثانوية العامة والمقبلين على التقديم على الجامعات يعلمون بأنه لم يعد هناك مايحميهم من الإخفاق في الحصول على فرصة القبول، فالمعدل والنسبة أصبحا لايضمنان لهم القبول كما في السابق وإنما مقدار النجاح الذي يحرزه المتقدم في اختبار "القدرات" هو التقييم الحقيقي الذي يمكن الطالب من الحصول على فرصة التعليم العالي.
