لا يخفى على سعادتكم أن الهيئة السعودية للمحاسبين القانونيين سبق أن اعتمدت في عام 1433/2012 خطة التحول إلى معايير المحاسبة الدولية ، وقررت أن تبدأ الشركات في تطبيق تلك المعايير اعتباراً من بداية عام 2017 بالنسبة للشركات المدرجة في السوق المالية ، واعتباراً من بداية عام 2018 للمنشأت الأخرى مع السماح لتلك المنشآت بالتطبيق المبكر اعتباراً من بداية عام 2017 . وقد شارفت الهيئة السعودية للمحاسبين القانونيين على اعتماد كافة المعايير والتفسيرات الصادرة من مجلس معايير المحاسبة الدولية علماً بأن المعايير مع قرارات اعتمادها منشورة على موقع الهيئة السعودية للمحاسبين القانونيين وإضافة إلى ذلك تقدم الهيئة دورات تدريبية مكثفة على المعايير الدولية وتوفر كتباً علمية وإرشادات تطبيقية لتلك المعايير
