صياغة آلية التعاون بين الجهات وتفصيل هذه العلاقة بين المجلس الاتحادي للتركيبة السكانية والجهات الحكومية ذات العلاقة بأعمال المجلس.

تحديد إطار وحدود علاقات الشراكة بناء على وثيقة الاستراتيجية السكانية الوطنية، وعلى معطيات مسؤولي المبادرات والقطاعات، بما يحقق المنفعة المتبادلة ويقدم قيمة مضافة لجميع الأطراف.
القيام و الاشراف بمتابعة أنشطة إدارة الشراكات والتأكد من سير العمليات بالشكل المطلوب.
الرقابة والإشراف على اللجان الفرعية للتركيبة السكانية بما يضمن تنفيذ الجهات المعنية للاستراتيجية السكانية.
متابعة تطبيق نماذج العمل ومعايير التميز والتأكد من الالتزام فيها.
رفع التقارير السنوية حول اللجان الفرعية.
ضمان الدعم والمساندة للجهات الحكومية لتنفيذ التشريعات والسياسات المعتمدة.
قياس رضا الشركاء من خلال نتائج الاستبيان.
القيام بأية أعمال أخرى يكلف بها من قبل رئيسه المباشر او الامين العام ضمن الإطار الزمني المحدد
