ان الاحتلال هو المعوق الرئيسي للتنمية والسبب المباشر وغير المباشر للمشاكل الصحية والاجتماعية والنفسية وتدهور الوضع الاقتصادي بسبب الحواجز والجدار ومنع الحركة وتقييدها (جمعية الهلال الاحمر الفلسطيني، 2014).
