فسق فسق فلان: خرج عن حجر الشرع، وذلك من قوله: فسق الرطب، إذا خرج عن قشره (وهذا قول الفراء. انظر تفسير الرازي 2/147)، وهو أعم من الكفر. والفسق يقع بالقليل من الذنوب وبالكثير، لكن تعورف فيما كان كثيرا، وأكثر ما يقال الفاسق لمن التزم حكم الشرع وأقر به، ثم أخل بجميع أحكامه أو ببعضه، وإذا قيل للكافر الأصلي: فاسق، فلأنه أخل بحكم ما ألزمه العقل واقتضته الفطرة، قال الله تعالى: ﴿ففسق عن أمر ربه﴾ [الكهف/ 50]، ﴿ففسقوا فيها﴾ [الإسراء/16]، ﴿وأكثرهم الفاسقون﴾ [آل عمران/110]، ﴿وأولئك هم الفاسقون﴾ [النور/4]، ﴿أفمن كان مؤمنا كما كان فاسقا﴾ [السجدة/ 18]، ﴿ومن كفر بعد ذلك فأولئك هم الفاسقون﴾ [النور/55]، أي: من يستر نعمة الله فقد خرج عن طاعته، ﴿وأما الذين فسقوا فمأواهم النار﴾ [السجدة/ 20]، ﴿والذين كذبوا بآياتنا يمسهم العذاب بما كانوا يفسقون﴾ [الأنعام/49]، ﴿والله لا يهدي القوم الفاسقين﴾ [المائدة/108]، ﴿إن المنافقين هم الفاسقون﴾ [التوبة/67]، ﴿وكذلك حقت كلمة ربك على الذين فسقوا﴾ [يونس/33]، ﴿أفمن كان مؤمنا كمن كان فاسقا﴾ [السجدة/18]، فقابل به الإيمان. فالفاسق أعم من الكافر، والظالم أعم من الفاسق. ﴿والذين يرمون المحصنات﴾ إلى قوله: ﴿وأولئك هم الفاسقون﴾ (الآية: ﴿والذين يرمون المحصنات ثم لم يأتوا بأربعة شهداء فاجلدوهم ثمانين جلدة ولا تقبلوا لهم شهادة أبدا وأولئك هم الفاسقون﴾ سورة النور: آية 4) وسميت الفأرة فويسقة لما اعتقد فيها من الخبث والفسق. وقيل: لخروجها من بيتها مرة بعد أخرى. وقال عليه الصلاة والسلام: (اقتلوا الفويسقة فإنها توهي السقاء وتضرم البيت على أهله) (في البخاري: عن جابر قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: (خمروا الآنية، وأجيفوا الأبواب، وأطفئوا المصابيح؛ فإن الفويسقة ربما جرت الفتيلة فأحرقت أهل البيت). انظر: فتح الباري 11/85 باب: لا تترك النار عند النوم). قال ابن الأعرابي: لم يسمع
