ترك مستشفى الإرسالية أثراً كبيراً في نفوس الكثيرين، وأنقذ من عام 1930 وحتى 1932 العشرات من حالات صحية حرجة وأمراض مستعصية. كما عالج أمراضاً تقليدية مثل الدمامل والتهاب العيون الذي يسببه الذباب والانفصال الشبكي والتراخوما الذي يؤدي إلى فقدان البصر ومرض الكبد والتهابات الجلد والحكة الناتجة عن الجدري وحالات العمى
