التثقيف الصحي الثالث: وهو يتوجه للاشخاص المصابين بامراض او مشاكل صحية لا يمكن الشفاء منها او لديهم اعاقات مزمنة ويهدف التثقيف هنا لتمكينهم من التعامل مع المشكلة والحد من تفاقمها والعيش بطرق صحية لتحافظ على امكاناتهم الجسدية والنفسية ومن الامثلة تثقيف مرضى السكري لمنع مضاعفاته.
