يتم قطف النورات فى الصباح الباكر بعد تفتحها تماما حيث يتم قطف اطول سلاح زهرى وتزال الاوراق الموجودة على الثلث السفلى للحامل لان عند غمسها للماء تتعفن تعيش النورات 5-10 ايام بعد القطف دون اى معاملات كيميائية ولكن لمضاعفة عمرها يتم اضافة 50جم سكروز +2.5 نترات فضة لكل لتر ماء مع اضافة قرص اسبرين
