ولكن مسالة التصديق على البروتوكولات الخاصة باتفاقية حقوق الطفل، يعتبر لبنان مقصرا تجاه البروتوكولان الثاني والثالث، الثاني والمتعلّق بحماية الاطفال من اشراكهم في النزاعات المسلحة والثالث يتعلق برفع الشكاوي مباشرة الى لجنة حقوق الطفل الدولية.
