فالمعلم حتى ينجح في عمله هناك بعض الصفات التي لابد من وجودها حتى يستطيع ان يؤدي رسالته على اكمل وجه منها الشخصية القوية والمظهر الجيد والذكاء والثقافة العامة واحترام الطلبة والحنان عليهم ومعاملتهم معاملة ابوية كل هذه الصفات وغيرها تساعد المعلم على النجاح في مهمته وبناء علاقة ايجابية بينه وبين الطلبة لان هناك بعض الامور تؤثر بشكل سلبي على هذه العلاقة مثل صعوبة المواد الدراسية الشغب, المزاح, الشخصية الضعيفة للمعلم, التميز بين الطلبة, اولياء الامور, شدة المعلم.
