سجلت فعاليات معرض جدة الدولي للكتاب 2015 حضوراً تجاوز الـ 800 ألف زائر ، ومبيعات بأكثر من 100 مليون ريال، بمشاركة 440 دار نشر من 25 دولة خليجية وعربية وعالمية، وشهد الحدث الأكبر من نوعه على مستوى المملكة تنوعاً في الحراك الثقافي والمعرفي من ناحية الفعاليات والأنشطة التي لامست تطلعات فئات المجتمع كافة محققاً أهدافه التي رسمتها لجنته العليا وفي مقدمتها نشر الوعي والمعرفة وتثقيف المجتمع بما ينمي معارفهم ويشجعهم على المزيد من القراءة والاحتفاء بالكتاب والمهتمين به لإثراء الحركة الفكرية والمعرفية والاهتمام بالأدب والمثقفين وكل شرائح المجتمع وربطهم بثقافة الكتاب وإثراءً للحركة الفكرية والأدبية التي تعد رسالة المعرض الجلية التي يشترك فيها الجميع
