وعلى الرغم من طول السواحل التي يبلغ طولها 600كم، إلا أنه لا توجد سوى 3 مقاطعات من بين 14 مقاطعة لولاية كيرلا التي تغمرها الشمس مع وجود الرمال، والبحر وهو ما يلبي رغبات العاشقين للشواطئ ولكن لا يمكن العثور في هذه الأماكن التي تتدلى بها فروع النخيل الخلابة على شيء أكثر متعة وجمالاً من منظر غروب الشمس المذهل واللون الأسمر، وأن المنارات القديمة، والأرصفة العتيقة والمنحدرات العالية، وينابيع المياه المعدنية، وقرى الصيد، والحصون المهيبة ترسم جميعها المشهد الذي يمنح سواحل كيرلا سحراً فريداً من نوعه.
