وتنتمي هذه الدراسة إلى البحوث الوصفية التحليلية، واستخدم فيها الباحث منهج الدراسة المسحية، كما استخدم صحيفة الاستقصاء لجمع بيانات الدراسة الميدانية، إلى جانب جمع بيانات الدراسة من خلال بعض الصحفة الالكترونية السعودية عينة الدراسة، وهي المواقع الإلكترونية لصحف (الوطن، الرياض، اليوم، عكاظ) في الفترة الزمنية 2015، حيث أجرى اختبار العينة التحليلية بطريقة العينة العشوائية المنتظمة.
