انطلاقا من سياسة بنك البلاد والتي نصت على التزام البنك بأحكام الشريعة الإسلامية، ولتحقيق هذا الغرض اختارت الجمعية العامة للبنك أعضاء الهيئة الشرعية ووافقت على لائحتها التي تنص على استقلالها عن البنك، وأبرز ما جاء في هذه اللائحة ما يأتي:

To achieve this purpose, the General Assembly of the bank members of the Sharia Board has chosen and agreed to its Rules of Procedure, which provides independence from the bank, and the highlight came in this regulation as follows:
