وأشار إلى أن العلاقات شهدت منذ بدايتها في العام 1973 توافقا في معظم قضايا المنطقة والعالم، ومثلت اتفاقيات الصداقة والتعاون بينهما أساسا متينا لقواعد العلاقة التي امتدت لتشمل المجالات الأخرى كافة ، إذ اتسمت مواقف البلدين بالتنسيق والتشاور وتبادل الآراء بما يخدم مصالح الأمة الاسلامية.
