القسم الشرقي يستعمل حاليًا كمركز ايواء للمهجرين من خارج طرطوس و يضم حوالي اكثر من 230 عائلة مهجرة و التي يقوم متطوعو الهلال الاحمر العربي السوري بتقديم الخدمات الاغاثية الانسانية لهم
