ترك مستشفى الإرسالية أثراً كبيراً في نفوس الكثيرين، وأنقذ من عام 1930 وحتى 1932 العشرات من الحالات الصحية الحرجة والأمراض المستعصية. كما عالج أمراضاً تقليدية مثل الدمامل والتهاب العيون الذي يسببه الذباب والانفصال الشبكي والتراخوما الذي يؤدي إلى فقدان البصر ومرض الكبد والتهابات الجلد والحكة الناتجة عن الجدري وحالات العمى
