قد يستثمر الصندوق في صناديق و ادوات اسواق النقد قصيرة المدى مثل المرابحات و التي قد تعرض الصندوق لمخاطر التمويل بشكل واضح. تكمن مخاطر الائتمان في حال تخلف الطرف الثالث في مثل هذه العقود عن الوفاء بكامل او جزء من المبلغ المستثمر كما تم الاتفاق عليه في مثل هذه العقود مما قد يؤثر على اداء الصندوق و على سعر الوحدة بشكل سلبي
