والحق يقال، أن قرية شهركان لا زالت حتى الآن رغم تغيّرالأزمان تحافظ بدرجة ليست قليلة على هذه العادات والتقاليد. فالمنازل لا زالت تفتح في أيام الإحتفال بعيدي الفطر والأضحى المباركين لإستقبال المهنئين، من بعد صلاة العيدين وحتى المساء وتتواصل الزيارات في الأيام التالية للعيدين.
