يلتزم صاحب العمل بأن يؤدي للعامل الأجر المتفق عليه أثناء فترة التدريب, وكذلك الأجر المتفق عليه لما بعد انتهاء فترة التدريب, واستمرار العامل في الحصول على أجر فترة التدريب لا يسقط حقه في طلب الأجر الذي يلي تلك الفترة.
