ذهب السائق الى مخدوميه الشيوخ وأخبر بالحادث، وكان الحاكم آنذاك هو الشيخ حمد بن عيسى والد الشيخ سلمان بن حمد الخليفة – رحمهم الله . ويقال ان الشيخ حمد امر اولا بأخذ الثأر من أهالي القرية ولكن مستشاريه نصحوه بمعالجة الامر بحكمة وذاك ما فعل
